Did anyone smell something burning in Jackson, Tennessee this past Saturday morning? Well it’s because MidSouth Pain Treatment Center’s very own CEO and Medical Director, Dr. Michael Steuer, left fire tracks as he flew through the streets of Jackson at the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run! Placing 1st in his age group and 10th overall, Dr. Steuer ran his heart out! Dr. Steuer’s efforts were not only personal victories, but a symbolic triumph for our patients that struggle with arthritis pain. MidSouth Pain Treatment Center is known for persistence, perseverance, and dedication to fighting pain and returning our patients back to the life that they know and love.
This was the first season that MidSouth Pain Treatment Center was active with the Arthritis Foundation and we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to support such a wonderful foundation and cause. Through our in-office fundraising to our employee involvement in the Jingle Bell runs in Memphis and Jackson, we hope we “touched” lives and helped our neighbors to know that they don’t have to live with their pain.
Community involvement is very important to MidSouth Pain Treatment Center. We consider our patients part of our family and feel honored to be able to raise awareness and give back to the communities that we call home. If you happen to participate in any of the Arthritis Foundation’s runs next year, don’t be surprised if you see Dr. Michael Steuer whiz by like a lightning bolt. After all, he now has an impressive title to defend!
